Thank you to Ryan Smith for sending these amazing photos of lightning in West Texas! Ryan says:
These images are all taken in the West Texas area and are intended to show God’s wonderful and awesome displays on the horizon. Although I have many sunset/landscape shots in calm weather, I intentionally chose ones that display His awesome power in the sky.
Fun facts: According to an Atlanta Journal article, a single storm can discharge enough energy to power the entire U.S. for 20 minutes. At any given time, there are about 2,000 thunderstorms in progress around the world.
We’re pleased to announce the first in what we hope will be a long series of HD nature videos. This video’s theme is snow, and includes HD footage of snowy landscapes across North America, plus aerial shots and up-close shots of wildlife. Thanks to David Abramsky for providing the soundtrack.
As a companion to this video, we’ve published an article titled “How Snow Illustrates One Of The Bible’s Most Important Messages” – be sure to check it out.
Enjoy!
P.S. For the best viewing experience, change the video quality to 720p or 1080p.
